Colette Fletcher was appointed Assistant Vice-Chancellor in September 2015. Prior to joining the University, she was the Policy Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor at Bournemouth University, has previously held roles at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
After receiving a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2001, Colette went on to study for an MSc in Palaeobiology at the University of Bristol. She is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Higher Education Management at the University of Bath, specialising in student satisfaction and experience.
Colette is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts a Certificate Member of the Institute of Risk Managers and a member of the UK Speechwriters Guild. She is also the Chair of the interim Board of Trustees for the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers, a Governor of Barton Peveril College, and a Trustee of the 401 Foundation.
