Tuesday 28 April 2020

The university has hosted the UCAS Hampshire exhibition for the last two years and it’s a great way for students to meet industry professionals and university and college representatives. This campus-based event is an opportunity to hear from both visiting exhibitors, as well as seeing what the University of Winchester can offer.

With topical seminars, application process advice and interactive stands, this is an event experience like no other. Find out what life is like on a university campus, and ask current students from a range of universities what it’s really like to study a certain subject. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask those burning questions that Google just can’t answer.

Whether it’s about kick-starting research or refining choices, there’s something for everyone at a UCAS exhibition.

We have a specific presentation designed to be offered to your students before they attend a UCAS event. This can be fitted into an assembly or tutor session to help them know what to expect from the event and how to make the most of the opportunity.

Experience Days

Experience Days are predominately aimed at students in Year 12 or 13, studying for a level 3 qualification. An Experience Day is a great way for students to spend time in a university environment, assisting them in making a more informed choice about their future.

Experience Days can include academic subject tasters, tours of the university, opportunities to interact with current students, as well as gaining an insight into life as a student and practical experience of what it’s like to learn in a university environment.

If you would like further information or to bring your students to the University of Winchester for an Experience Day, please get in touch with your regional Senior Development Officer to discuss your requirements.

We will also be offering a Year 10 Experience Day in summer 2020. Please check the website for confirmed dates.
