Winchester Health, as part of the University of Winchester, is proudly committed to making a positive social and environmental impact. We are delighted to have developed a short course the discusses what kind of world agenda will help us all work towards a sustainable planet and good health for all; An Introduction to Global health.
Diet choices are so important to health and wellbeing, and we currently offer short courses covering the global shift to predominantly Plant-based Nutrition, as well as one of the only courses available in the relatively new eating disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
Our short course in Healthcare Ethics is aimed at doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and others working in health care. It emphasises development of skills for ethical reasoning and decision making, and provides opportunity to reflect on some of the major ethical issues raised by professional practice.
Winchester Health is developing credit-bearing short courses to support career development for healthcare professionals.
