We are excited to host a networking event as part of International Women's Day 2023, during which we would love attendees to share their business journey, any barriers they have faced, any wins they have enjoyed whilst embracing equity.

Only 1 in 3 UK entrepreneurs is female: a gender gap equivalent to 1.1 million missing businesses. Historically, women have made up just over a quarter of self-employed individuals in the UK, whereas since the 2008 economic downturn, 58% of the newly self-employed have been female. As a country we should celebrate every individual who works towards starting a business and making a difference, but even more so to those who have faced structural inequalities or societal difficulties.

Come and grab a drink, share your experiences. Although this is part of International Women's Day and the event is focusing on equitable practices for women entering the business space, we encourage anyone wishing to learn and support others to come along and exchange ideas.
