General Pitt-Rivers knew that science would progress, and his work would be reviewed by future archaeologists. Nathalie Barrett Lecturer in Geomatics at the University of Winchester is re-exploring the landscape records of Pitt-Rivers with a 21st century eye and reflects on visualisations past and present.
