Panel Debate ‘Tackling the Housing Crisis’
The University of Winchester values collective action for the public good. A decent, affordable home is a basic need of everyone but currently this seems to be beyond the reach of many. We have assembled a panel of experts to discuss the problem and to answer questions from the audience. Our speakers will bring different perspectives to the discussion on what promises to be a stimulating evening.
The panel will consist of:
- Geoff French, Chair of the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership
- Tony Pidgley, Chairman of the Berkeley Group of Companies
- Terrie Alafat, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Housing
The panel will be chaired by John Denham, former Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, now Professor of English Identity and Politics and Director of the University's Centre for English Identity and Politics.
