​Health and Wellbeing Research Methods Seminar Series Three Spring 2017

Presenter: Dr Martina Hutton, Senior Lecturer in Marketing, Faculty of Business, Law and Sport

Drawing on current insights from an exploratory study examining the health effects of hunger and economic deprivation, this seminar will consider the following questions; i) What defines the Photovoice philosophy? ii) How is community participation realised in Photovoice processes? In what way can Photovoice as a method, not only address health disparities but also effect social change?

This third methods series will continue to showcase recent research projects and examine methodologies currently used in health and wellbeing research. It will enable researchers to explore critical challenges in research and knowledge exchange, sharing expertise and forging connections that will support the development of future projects across a wide range of themes.
