Screening of The True Cost and ethical fashion exhibition

Wednesday 26 April
6pm
The Stripe, King Alfred Campus, University of Winchester, Sparkford Road, Winchester, Hampshire SO22 4NR

Winchester Fashion Week at the University of Winchester

The True Cost (92 mins, Dir. Andrew Morgan) is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story behind the clothes we wear and the people who make them, and asks us to consider: who really pays the price for our clothing?

Alongside the screening, a small exhibition features upcycled dresses by ethical designer Mia Nisbet; archive film footage from the Wessex Film Archive; fashion creations by Winchester Oxfam’s Oxcyclers and more.

Join us from 6pm for an informal drinks reception and a chance to enjoy the exhibition before the screening at 6.30pm.
