The History Department is delighted to announce the launch of three Late medieval/Early Modern European studies.

Studying late medieval history – a thematic approach is an introduction to this period for new undergraduates on themes such as monarchy, parliament, women, education and the Church.

The other two volumes, Virtuous or Villainess? The image of the Royal Mother from the early medieval to the Early Modern era and Royal mothers and their ruling children: wielding political authority, in Palgrave's Queenship and Power series, focus on queens as mothers.
