If you are a student from a country listed by the UKVI as exempt from providing evidence that you meet the financial requirements for your visa, you will be required to submit a Tuition Fee Deposit of £2000 as part of your application to study at the University. Students in receipt of US Federal Loans are exempt from the requirement to pay the Tuition Fee Deposit.

If you are a student from a country not listed by the UKVI as exempt from providing evidence that you meet the financial requirements for your visa, you will be required to submit a Tuition Fee Deposit of £5000 as part of your application to study at the University.

If you are an international student required to pay a Tuition Fee Deposit, you are required to pay this Deposit before a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) can be issued.

Please also see our policy on Refund of Tuition Fee Deposits for international students.

Fee status

To be eligible for Home rather than International Tuition Fees you must normally hold settled status (i.e. have no restrictions on your right to remain in the UK), be ordinarily resident in the UK and have lived in the UK for the full 3 year period prior to 1 September (for courses starting in September). Further information about eligibility for home fees is available from the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA)

If you are in doubt as to your fee status, you should contact us to request a Fee Assessment Form.

Making a payment
