What are you up to these days?

I'm currently doing an internship at a charity called BMS World Mission. It's great to be able to use my degree at my job, but there's definitely loads of new challenges and new things I have to learn!

Favourite uni memory

Probably being a member of the University of Winchester Music Centre. I made some of my greatest friends there, and singing as part of 200 person choir in Winchester cathedral is definitely something that I'm not going to forget in a while! And is it a bit sad if I say my lectures? I was very lucky in that I really enjoyed doing my degree, and some of the stuff I did on my course was so interesting and fun. Things like helping run Vortex, or doing a placement at Splendid Fred Records were such valuable experiences and I genuinely really enjoyed them!

Advice to new students

Say yes to more things. I'm very good at getting into my own head about stepping out of my comfort zone, but my most valuable experiences happened when I put myself out there a bit. You have less to loose than you think.

Best thing about The University of Winchester

It's very easy to find your place there. There's so much stuff that goes on, you'll definitely find your people, whether they're on your course or in a society.

Guilty pleasure

Probably watching trashy TV when I should be writing! That and obsessively organising my books (although I don't feel very guilty about that, it gives me a lot of joy).
