Out of the Vortex

The University of Winchester's long-running creative writing publication Vortex is showing that it is a force to be reckoned with, launching its 2019 edition at the Winchester Theatre Royal show Out of the Vortex on Monday 8th April at 7.30pm.

From its humble beginnings in 2005 as a hastily produced journal with ‘no more than enthusiasm and a photocopier’, Vortex now has more than a decade's worth of editions under its belt, and has evolved into a student-led publication, with Creative and Professional Writing students working as the editorial board as well as in design and marketing roles. 

Out of the Vortex will bring print to life through verse, story, music, and performance, and show just how creative, innovative, and imaginative students from The University of Winchester are.
