Continuous Improvement

Continuous Improvement is founded on the belief that there is always the possibility of making things better, and that change should be informed and enabled by people’s skills knowledge and experience.

As a Continuous Improvement hub we are the first port of call for anyone who needs help to improve processes, save time, solve problems or unravel complex issues.

LEAN

Our Accredited Training

We are accredited by LCS (Lean Competency System) to offer lean training and currently offer this at 2 levels: we can also offer Lean Leaders Training.

Lean Foundations - Yellow Belt

A one-day introduction to Lean, providing the skills and tools needed to be able to make independent contributions to improvement projects and to run small projects. Provides a set of comprehensive tools which can be put to immediate use in day to day activities.

Lean Foundations - Green Belt

A two-day course giving an enhanced knowledge of lean principles and how they can be applied. Provides a comprehensive overview of the R-MDAIC approach to running improvement projects and introduces a range of relevant tools and techniques. On completion of the two days attendees are asked to identify, run and document an independent Continuous Improvement Project.

External Consultancy

With over 20 years’ Lean and Continuous Improvement experience in the team, gained  both within and outside of the Higher Education sector, we are also pleased to offer external consultancy in any of the areas listed below to organisations looking to enhance performance and develop continuous improvement practices.
