Income-based bursaries

*Proposed offer for 2023/24 entrants, pending approval from the Office for Students under the Access and Participation Plan Variation*

As part of our Access and Participation Plan, the University awards bursaries to eligible full-time UK and EU* students.

In 2023/24 the criteria for bursary awards will be based on household income (as assessed by Student Finance**), for those with household income under £25,000.

No application is necessary. Students will be advised by email if they are eligible to receive an award. Awards are paid in Semester 2.

Students whose household income is assessed under £25,000 by Student Finance** will receive £200 in their first, second and third years of study, provided they continue to satisfy the eligibility criteria and they are studying full-time: a total of £600
