Girl listening to music

With the UCAS application deadline fast approaching, we thought you could do with a little motivation to help get you through your UCAS application. Here are 10 songs which we think will give you that last minute push.

1. Kanye West – Stronger

Kanye West mixed this 2007 hit 50 times before he was happy with it. 50 times! Let’s hope you can perfect your application in less…

2. Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now

This song has been scientifically proven to be the top feel-good song of the past 50 years, and we agree!

3. Bobby McFerrin – Don’t Worry be Happy

*insert enthusiastic whistling here*

4. Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough

Michael Jackson may or may not have referenced Star Wars in the lyrics of this song. Even though we will never find out, can it give you ‘The Force’ to finish up your UCAS application?

5. One Republic – Counting Stars

Did you know, Ryan Tedder had the idea for this song in 2012 while chillin’ in The Hamptons with Queen B and Jay Z?! Pretty cool…

6. Circa Waves – T-Shirt Weather

Although we can’t promise any T-Shirt weather in Winchester, there are plenty of other reasons to come and join us in September.

7. Toploader – Dancing in the Moonlight

Cracking tune, but make sure you don’t get too carried away and rhyme all of your personal statement just like these lyrics!

8. Beyonce – Run the World

If this song doesn’t empower you, then we don’t know what will.

9. Robbie Williams – Rock DJ

Though we love the song, if you want to sleep tonight, we don’t recommend watching the end of the video.

10. Paulo Nutini – New Shoes

Although this singers full name is somewhat exotic, Paolo Giovanni Nutini was actually born in Scotland! Who knew?

Have we missed anything?
