Information for Learners
All the information you need to apply for one of our Degree Apprenticeships
View contentTo join a Degree Apprenticeship programme you need to apply directly to the company you wish to work for – you do not apply via the UCAS application system. If you are already employed, talk to your employer about Degree Apprenticeship opportunities.
Follow these steps to apply for a degree apprenticeship:
- Browse our professional partners page, where you can see the companies we are currently working with, and apply for vacancies via their websites
- Apply for the job: each employer will have their own application process, but it would typically involve a covering letter and CV, and you may be invited to attend an assessment centre
- Complete your application: Once you’ve signed a contract with your employer, you need to fill in the University application form and enrol on the course. This would normally happen a couple of months before the programme starts.
Considerations for disabled applicants to higher or degree apprenticeships
The Disabled Students’ Commission has put together a guide for disabled applicants applying for a higher or degree apprenticeship; to help you through the process of asking the important questions of, and making sure you have the necessary support from, the university, college or independent learning provider from the outset of your journey.
