The University of Winchester celebrated the achievements of students taking apprenticeship degrees at a special awards ceremony.
Seven apprentices from the Faculties of Health and Wellbeing and Business and Digital Technologies were honoured at the event.
Introducing the event Pro Vice-Chancellor Matt Webster said: “This is a celebration of the commitment, effort and hard work our apprentices have put in.
“An apprenticeship is not an easy route but it is a brave route. An apprenticeship involves balancing work, study and family commitments and all our apprentices deserve our congratulations.”
Matt also thanked all the employers present for providing apprenticeships which can often be life-changing opportunities.
The event took place during Apprentice Week 2026 at the University’s West Downs Gallery against the backdrop of an exhibition featuring paintings by members of the Winchester Ukrainian Cultural Association (WUCA).
