Biography

Steven has been an academic in the Department of Sport, Exercise and Health at The University of Winchester since December 2017. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and programme Leader.

Steven completed a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy, and worked as a clinician for 10 years before moving into Higher Education in 2001. He has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, an MSc in Physiotherapy and Management and completed his Doctorate of Education in Education and Management at The University of Southampton in 2014.

Steven has had experience of teaching both undergraduate and MSc Physiotherapy and his teaching interests include anatomy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and Leadership/management. He has experience in other roles including External Examiner for several university programmes and working with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
