So, today is Pancake day (or Shrove Tuesday) and we are very excited to bake up a storm in the kitchen later on! Whether you prefer American Style Pancakes or traditional Crepes, they make a delicious treat, are super cheap to make and can be paired with almost anything! Here are some of our easy peasy recipes below.

1) Traditional Crepes

100g plain flour (or gluten free)

300ml semi-skimmed milk

1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil

2 eggs

2) Fluffy American Pancakes

135g plain flour (or gluten free)

130ml semi-skimmed milk

2 tbsp caster sugar

2tbsp melted butter or olive oil

1 tablespoon of baking powder

½ tablespoon of salt

1 large egg

These type of pancakes are best soaked in maple syrup. You could also add some blueberries for a healthy alternative.

3) Vegan Banana Pancakes

125g plain flour (or gluten-free)

100ml soya milk

1 mashed bananas

1 tbsp coconut oil

Why not top them with some banana slices, agave nectar and vegan chocolate to sweeten them up a bit?
