2021 Alumni Recognition Award Winner

We are delighted to be awarding our 2021 Alumni Recognition Award to Gareth Young who graduated in 1995. Sadly, the award is being presented posthumously as Gareth passed away in 2020 at the age of 46. Gareth’s achievements are seen through his legacy of influence to boost, lobby and educate people on the rights, support and pride in teaching. Education International’s general secretary, David Edwards commented "Gareth’s contribution to the future of the international trade union movement and to the cause of teachers will be missed".

Alumni who graduated in 2020 and 2021: Get up to £1,000 to start your own business!

The University of Winchester Enterprise Futures service is proud to launch the second year of the Delve Further: Enterprise Support Fund. With this fund, you can apply for up to £1,000 to start your own business. If you want more information about the process, you can book onto the upcoming Hybrid Briefing event Tuesday 25 January 11:30 -12:30 here. Winton Reunion Weekend 8-10 July 2022

Work is underway planning the next Winton Reunion Weekend after a 2-year COVID break. It will be 50/40 years-on for those who left KAC in 1972 and 1982. So why not get a group of your friends together to celebrate in the place where those friendships began?

Highlights include:

The Old Wintonians have now taken over financial and organisational responsibilities for the Winton Reunion Weekend. This will lead to some changes but we are confident that we will be able to deliver a brilliant Reunion.

We are looking forward to seeing you in July.
