All smiles at Graduation 2026

Sunshine and showers mixed with sunny smiles and tears of joy  - our 2026 Graduation ceremonies brought out the best and worst of the British weather but could not dampen the spirits of Winchester's newest graduates.

Whatever the weather, the class of 26 looked to be in their element as they celebrated their big day in grand style.

Eleven graduations were ceremonies held in Winchester Cathedral between 21 and 24 October attended by around 8,000 graduates, guests and staff.

In addition to the ceremonies themselves, graduates enjoyed free fizz and a chance to pose for official photos in the celebration Zone located in the nearby Guildhall.

Photographer Dominic Parkes’ pictures tell the story….
