Colin is the Co-convenor of the Centre for Global Health, part of the University's Health and Wellbeing Research Group. A career educationist, he works in professional education with a special interest in curriculum development and has published widely in this field.
He was appointed Honorary Professor at the University in 1997 when he helped found the highly successful Master's in Medical Education; he now focusses on programmes of work in low- and middle-income countries. He works closely with his colleague David Percy to develop the Centre for Global Health’s strategy and policies, and leads its research and knowledge exchange agenda.
