Policing, Criminology & Forensics

There are few subjects more compelling than crime. If you have an enquiring, analytical mind, come and develop a range of skills on our crime-related courses which include Criminology, Professional Policing and Forensic Investigation to set you up for an exciting and rewarding career.

Policing, Criminology & Forensics INTRODUCTION

Learn from academic staff who bring their own experience of working in their field to discover what leads someone to crime. Work on real-life cold cases, analyse a crime scene in our live crime scene house, work on your fitness in our gymnasium to make sure you can pass the police fitness test, or present evidence in a mock courtroom.

At Winchester you will develop inter-disciplinary skills such as gathering data, interpreting evidence and assembling arguments to formulate findings and conclusions. We invite external experts such as magistrates and former police officers to enrich your experience on your programme.
